Truthfully i don't where to start this post.. he's funny, kind, generous, hardworking, loving, he has this distinct kind of laugh.. a laugh that we will surely miss.

April 12 at 6 in the morning my brother texted my mom to bring the sad news, kuya Esmie left us, for less than a month after the surgery - due to complications, his heart gave in.. A very sad news indeed, my mom together with her sister and aunt (kuya Esmie's mom) is suppose to visit him that day in the hospital..

My brother was lucky to see him and talk to him last friday.. we never got the chance.. it was all of a sudden, too late to discover the disease.. according to his mom, he never complain.. what hurts.. until the end he still want to perform his duty..

That same day we travel 7 hours to visit his wake.. it's sad to see him that way.. last time I saw him was years ago.. my mom always get text messages from him, either jokes or quotes.. it stop when he lost his phone I think, the next time we knew he need to undergo surgery..and then days after he was gone..

Lots of people love him, you can tell it.. he's a choir leader - he's a good advisor, a friend, a co-officer..

I try to hide my tears, not to add the hurt his family feels.. for I also know what awaits him..
he will surely be miss..

Just was about to think of eating ice cream, my father also crave for it..so immediately he has asked us to buy.. then we meet friends from Manila who had last minute decision to spend their holidays here.. I accompanied them to Viscoz, one of my fave cake store..and introduce them the mouthwatering strawberry cake and got myself raspberry cheesecake..

The package arrived!yey! after almost a month I think it finally arrived, Sunsilk was generous enough to send it all the way here from manila with all the shipment. so here's what I received..

Summer wouldn't be complete without an outing, beach, pool or picnic..this holiday I spent time with beau and his family at a resort in Rizal..yes all the way there.. and because it's summer, the weather is hot and we need protection~~~sunblock! so here's what we use..




Thumbs up for:
NuDerm
- Most of the sunblock are sticky and tends to make my face oily but these sunblock are good, i can use NuDerm for everyday.. I also like to try their other skin products, Before I've tried samples of their clarifying lotion and toner..
- Cost 300 pesos for 100 ml..
Downside:
- only available at Dermclinic branches since there's no branch here I have to buy it in Manila

Banana boat and aloe vera are from US so I can't rate the price.. sunblock is also not too sticky and the aloe vera is very soothing, i use it on my insect bites..

Summer also means eating my favorite food! (and junk food)
